Our school is celebrating National Literacy and Numeracy Week in Week 7 and would like to showcase the fantastic work happening in our classrooms by having an Open Morning for our school community on Wednesday September the 7th. Parents are invited to come into the classrooms during lesson one from 9:00-9:50 to see their children involved in literacy or numeracy activities such as:
- Guided Reading
- Literature Circles
- Jolly Phonics
- Jolly Grammar
- 3 Part Maths Lesson
- Teaching Mental Computation Strategies.
There will also be a display of literacy or numeracy work from each class in the Drama Room.
