We are launching our new Blog today. It’s basic but we will build it up over time. The Blog will allow us to communicate school information and events in a timely manner when needed. The blog stores all posts so that students, parents and caregivers can access the information when needed. Some of the benefits are:

• Less emails
• Everyone (staff, students and parents) has access to information
• Ability to share news when it happens
• More engaging through the use of pictures and graphics
• Email subscription allowing you to get a daily email update of new posts
• All posts are stored so that events and information can be referred back to when needed
• School calendar with events and excursions listed so that you can plan ahead

We will operate the blog in accordance with the DECD policy which will ensure that no child’s photo will be displayed without permission and we will not use student surnames. Early next term we will be sending home further information and  consent forms for parents to grant access for their child’s photo to be used.
